EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          YankeeNets formally named former USOC Deputy Secretary
     General JOHN KRIMSKY as President of YankeeNets Properties &
     CMO of YankeeNets (See THE DAILY, 3/1).  Krimsky will be
     responsible for marketing and all revenue generation for the
     teams and future properties (YankeeNets)....In KY, John Clay
     reports that Univ. of KY Senior Associate Athletics Dir
     LARRY IVY was named AD.  Ivy will succeed the retiring C.M.
     NEWTON. Ivy was the "only candidate interviewed" by an
     eight-person advisory committee (LEXINGTON HERALD-LEADER,
     3/21)....The WNBA Sting named FELICIA HALL as Dir of
     Business Operations.  Hall was Nike Manager of Women's
     Basketball (Sting)....Greens.com named Internet consultant
     DOUG PERKINS as President & COO.  He will oversee day-to-day
     operations for sales, marketing and customer service
     (Greens.com)....HERB SWEREN was named Brand Manager at
     Prince, reporting to Benetton Sportsystem Commercial Group
     VP PAOLO DENTI.  Sweren has been at Prince for 19 years and
     was most recently VP/Specialty (Prince)....MICHAEL THOMPSON
     was named Motorsports Manager for GMR Marketing.  Thompson
     will oversee all of Miller Brewing Co.'s "in-market
     activities" at each NASCAR Winston Cup event this year
     (WINSTON CUP SCENE, 3/16 issue)....BRANDWEEK's Terry Lefton
     reports that former Fox Sports Enterprises President RICK
     WELTS and Turner Exec VP & GM STEVE KOONIN have joined the
     BOD of Efanshop.com, a "startup dedicated to handling e-
     commerce for sports sites" (BRANDWEEK, 3/20 issue).
