ARE THE NHLPA AND ITS PLAYERS DISAGREEING ON WEB STRATEGY?

While the NHL and NHLPA Web sites "dedicate a lot of
space" to players, Al Strachan of the TORONTO SUN reported
that there are "some players who want to have their own
Websites." Currently, "there seems to be no objection --
within certain parameters." The NHLPA "wants to limit" the
number of players involved with any one site to three, but
"this does not sit well" with one unnamed agent. Strachan:
"[The agent] has been sending letters to players urging them
to oppose the union stance" (TORONTO SUN, 3/19).
