debut nikegolfclub.com, a "stand-alone" site that is
"intended to help authenticate the Nike Golf brand and
demonstrate the business unit's desire to cater to the

QUOKKA SAYS E-COMMERCE IS KEY: CBS MarketWatch's August
Cole profiles Quokka Sports and writes that the "question
remains whether the cyber sports portal can put its
investors on top of the world." Cole examines Quokka's
Olympic partnership with NBC, and notes that the deal "has
an e-commerce angle in which Quokka has exclusive rights"
with NBC for USOC merchandise in North America, "tying in ad
and e-commerce revenue to event coverage." Quokka CFO Les
Schmidt: "This should be a pretty big e-commerce event,
unlike coverage in the past" (CBS MarketWatch, 3/17).
