EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          Jazz acting GM DENNIS HASLAM was promoted yesterday to
     President.  Since July '97, Haslam has been President & COO
     of the Larry H. Miller Sports and Entertainment Division,
     the parent company of the Jazz (SALT LAKE TRIBUNE,
     3/10)....DENNIS O'CONNOR left his position as Dir of
     Communications for the CPBL and has joined PR firm Peter
     Arnold Associates (PAA) as a Senior Associate (PAA). ....NFL
     Europe Dir of Football Administration BRUCE WARWICK was
     named to a similar position with the Packers (GREEN BAY
     PRESS-GAZETTE, 3/9)....The XFL named BOB GATES as Pro
     Personnel Dir, BILL BAKER as College Personnel Dir and WILL
     MCCLAY as Personnel Consultant.  All three will report to
     XFL VP/Football Operations MICHAEL KELLER (XFL)....Acclaim
     Entertainment named STEVE FELSEN as Extreme Sports Brand
     Dir.  Felsen led the marketing for Activision's PC Action
     Games (Acclaim Entertainment)....The Sports Business Group
     President DAVID CARTER has been named a Dir of the National
     Sports Marketing Education Foundation, which offers
     educational assistance to educators as well as career
     information to students (The Sports Business Group).
