COMING TO CO-MERICA: SINGLE-GAME TICKETS AND MCDONALD'S?

Though the Tigers "haven't even kicked off" their 2000
     advertising campaign, 22,500 20-game and 81-game ticket
packages have been sold for the inaugural season at Comerica
Park, according to Becky Yerak of the DETROIT NEWS, who
notes that single-game tickets will go on sale Saturday.
Yerak reports that 1,400 premium seats "still remain
available," while only two luxury suites are left. In other
news, Pepsi "is about to replace" Coca-Cola as the team's
soft-drink sponsor. Meanwhile, McDonald's is "considering
opening" a restaurant at the ballpark (DETROIT NEWS, 2/29).
