     "point man" on broadcasting deals that "netted the club more
     than" $170M, will leave the team to become COO at Internet
     company ACSSports.com (Baltimore SUN, 2/16)....The Redskins
     named MICHAEL ROTHBARD VP/Marketing (Mult., 2/16)....Octagon
     named President FRANK CRAIGHILL as Octagon Worldwide Deputy
     Chair and has hired IMG Senior Int'l VP TIM MOUFARRIGE as
     Joint Managing Dir.  Octagon Dir MATTHEW WHEELER will join
     Moufarrige as Joint Managing Dir (Octagon)....SFX Sports
     Group named MIKE MILTHORPE to the newly created position of
     Dir of Golf Events.  Milthorpe was formerly VP/Golf Ventures
     for Streetball Int'l (SFX)....Former Toronto Sun hockey
     writer TIM WHARNSBY was named Manager of Media Relations at
     the NHLPA.  Wharnsby replaces DEVIN SMITH, who will be
     Program Manager of the NHLPA's Goals & Dreams fund (NHLPA).
