EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          The Venator Group has named MATTHEW SERRA as COO.  He
     has been President & COO of Venator's Foot Locker Worldwide
     unit since '98 and will also now be responsible for the
     Champs Sports division (WALL STREET JOURNAL, 2/11)....Former
     Nike and Prince exec IAN ARTHUR has been named President of
     MA-based Tretorn USA.  Tretorn will relocate to CO effective
     March 1 (Tennisweek.com, 2/8)....TransWorld Media has named
     ANDREW CLURMAN President of the company in addition to his
     duties as President & Publisher of The Skiing Company and VP
     of Times Mirror Magazines.  Clurman succeeds BRIAN SELLSTROM
     (TMM)....United Sports Ventures President Dr. ERIC MARGENAU
     has been named President & CEO of Orlando Predators
     Entertainment, Inc.  He replaces BRETT BOUCHY, who will
     remain with the company as a liaison to the AFL.  OPE is
     currently in the process of purchasing United Sports
     Ventures, which owns a number of minor league franchises
     (OPE)....The Blue Jackets named TODD SHARROCK as Dir of
     Communications.  Sharrock spent the last five seasons with
     the IHL Aeros as Dir of Communications and was Stars
     Assistant Dir of PR during the '93-94 season (Blue Jackets).
