          NOTES: The Lakers are playing their first season at
     Staples Center (capacity 18,997).  The Lakers played at the
     Great Western Forum (capacity 17,505) in '97 and '98. The
     Clippers also are playing their first season at Staples
     Center (capacity 18,964).  The Clippers played at the L.A.
     Memorial Sports Arena (capacity 16,021) and the Pond at
     Anaheim (18,211) in '97 and '98.  The Nuggets are playing
     their first season at the Pepsi Center (capacity 19,099). 
     The Nuggets played at McNichols Sports Arena (capacity
     17,171) in '97 and '98.  The T'Wolves and Kings played their
     first "home openers" at the Tokyo Dome in Japan, where the
     Kings drew 32,623 on November 5, and the T'Wolves drew
     34,013 on November 6.  Without the Tokyo home game, the
     Kings would be averaging 17,040, which is +1.7% for '98 and
     +15.4% for '97, and the T'Wolves would be averaging 16,734
     per game -- -2.2% for '98 and -7.1% for '97.
