ESPN/ABC SPORTS SALES STAFF TAKES SHAPE IN GOTHAM OFFICE

          ESPN/ABC Sports' N.Y.-based Customer Marketing and
     Sales team will be structured into three units:  National
     Sales Operation, Customer & Event Marketing and
     Administration, Sales & Revenue Planning.  In National Sales
     Operation, CLIFF MARKS and DAVE ROTEM have both been named
     Senior VP/National Sales and will work with Exec VP/National
     Sales EVAN STERNSCHEIN.  Marks and Rotem were at ABC Network
     TV Sales.  In Customer & Event Marketing, BRIAN SIKORSKI was
     promoted to Senior VP/Event Marketing and LOU KOSKOVALIS was
     named Senior VP/Customer Marketing.  They will both report
     to newly named Exec VP/Customer & Event Marketing LARRY
     FRIED.  Sikorski will work with TOM HAGEL, who was promoted
     to VP Dir/Event Marketing, while RANDY GERSTENBLATT was
     promoted to VP/Customer Marketing and will report to
     Koskovalis.  In Administration, Sales & Revenue Planning,
     PATRICK MCGOVERN was named VP/Dir Sales & Revenue Planning
     and will report to BRIAN CARR, who was named Senior
     VP/Administration, Sales & Revenue Planning.  TIM DOLMAN was
     promoted to VP/Dir of Administration and Business
     Operations, and MICHAEL KAY was named VP/Business Operations
     and will report to Dolman (ESPN).
