NEW SPORTS SHOPS FEATURE AN IN-FUSIENT OF TALENT

          Classic Sports Network Founders BRIAN BEDOL and STEPHEN
     GREENBERG have formed N.Y.-based FUSIENT MEDIA VENTURES as
     "an incubator for entrepreneurs developing content for the
     Internet," according to Sallie Hofmeister of the L.A. TIMES. 
     Former Warner Bros. Exec VP TOM LASSALLY, also a co-Founder
     of Fusient, will be President of West Coast Operations. 
     Fusient has raised $30M from investors, including Redpoint
     Ventures, Allen & Co. and Waterview Partners.  Among
     Fusient's first investors is BROADBAND SPORTS, led by former
     Disney Exec RICHARD NANULA (L.A. TIMES, 1/17). 
           ONE GIANT LEIB: Attorney and CPA ROBERT LEIB has
     formed WI-based THE LEIB GROUP, which will advise on the
     sports and entertainment industries.  The company will
     provide consulting services to int'l major and minor league
     sports teams, private and public ownership groups, facility
     operators and entertainment groups.  Also joining the firm
     are Exec VP/Interactive Marketing DAN MIGALA, Exec
     VP/Professional Sports WILLIAM MILLER, VP/Operations PAM
     KASPER and Consultant APRIL ANDERSON (Leib Group).
          WHAT'S THAT UP THERE? IT'S A SIEGEL: Entertainment and
     corporate PR consultant DIANA SIEGEL has joined the newly
     formed CORPORATE MOTORSPORTS AGENCY, a MA-based strategic
     motorsport consultancy and management partner to
     corporations and ad agencies wanting to increase exposure
     through motorsports marketing (Corporate Motorsports).
