NAMES & FACES: CAPRIATI COMEBACK CONTINUES, WORM IN THE NEWS

          Jennifer Capriati has signed on as a spokesperson for
     NJ-based TSR Wireless through this year.  The deal, handled
     by IMG's Barbara Perry, who represents Capriati, begins with
     this week's Australian Open.  Capriati will make appearances
     for TSR Wireless in certain U.S. cities and will wear a
     uniform patch featuring TSRWireless.com (TSR Wireless).
          NICE RING, DENNIS! In Indianapolis, Marc Allan reports
     that "after receiving a number of complaints," four local TV
     stations "pulled" an ad for local FM radio station WFBQ that
     showed morning deejays Bob Kevoian and Tom Griswold "in a
     men's room with Dennis Rodman, admiring what turns out to
     be" Rodman's ring (INDIANAPOLIS STAR, 1/18).
          STICKY ISSUE: In Toronto, Jean Sonmor reported that,
     "without so much as a phone call," BBDO Canada altered a
     Canadian Press photo of Canadian skier Myriam Bedard for a
     Wrigley Spearmint Gum ad campaign.  BBDO Canada "offered"
     Bedard C$4,000 for what it called a "clerical error," but
     Bedard's attorney says that Bedard "charges [C]$150,000 for
     the use of her image."  BBDO Canada and Wrigley Canada face
     two suits for more than C$1M over the photo (TOR. SUN, 1/17)
          MLB STARS: MLB HOF inductee Carlton Fisk, searching for
     new marketing and advertising deals, has enlisted Chicago-
     based The Rosen Group to handle his marketing endeavors
     (ADWEEK, 1/17)....MLB HOFer Nolan Ryan will be the official
     spokesperson of the Minor League Baseball Licensing Program,
     set to begin this month.  Ryan will be featured in print
     campaigns, POS efforts and "Star Struck," the official
     catalogue of Minor League Baseball, and will participate in
     marketing initiatives with retailers (THE DAILY).
