SFX WISHING UPON AN ULTRASTAR: ACQUIRES STAKE IN WEB COMPANY

          SFX Entertainment will buy a 25-40% stake in UltraStar
     Internet Services, the online company co-founded by David
     Bowie, according to Kim Chipman of BLOOMBERG NEWS.  In
     February, UltraStar plans to launch YankeesXtreme, the
     official Web site of the Yankees, as well as
     OriolesWorld.com, and Chipman writes that SFX will "try to
     obtain rights to online fan clubs of its clients, which
     includes sports teams" and athletes (BLOOMBERG, 12/21). 
     Bill Zysblat, UltraStar co-Founder and Bowie's business
     manager, said the deal includes "a sizeable amount of cash -
     - but not a lot by Internet standards -- for which we've
     given a small amount of equity" (N.Y. POST, 12/22).  The
     HOLLYWOOD REPORTER reports that "several new entertainment,
     music and sports sites" will be added to UltraStar in the
     first quarter of 2000 (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 12/22).
