TEAMS ON THE WEB: WHITE SOX INK IGNITE; A'S W/AMERICAN CITY

          The White Sox have reached a multi-year Internet media
     rights licensing deal with IL-based Ignite Sports Media. 
     Ignite will partner with the team to publish its official
     Web site, which will launch in February (Ignite).
          AMERICAN DREAM: The A's have reached a four-year
     agreement for N.Y.-based American City Studios (ACS) to
     design and host the team's site at www.oaklandathletics.com. 
     Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the partnership
     includes upgrades to the site's ticket purchasing system,
     merchandise store and direct marketing mechanisms.  The new
     site will launch in February 2000 (A's).
