EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          The MLB Giants announced the following front office
     promotions: MARIO ALIOTO was named Senior VP/Corporate
     Marketing; JACK BAIR was named Senior VP & General Counsel;
     JORGE COSTA was named Senior VP/Ballpark Operations; PAT
     GALLAGHER was named Giants Enterprises President; TOM
     MCDONALD was named Senior VP/Consumer Marketing; and RICK
     MEARS was named VP/Guest Services (Giants).
          OTHER MOVES: TheStreet.com's Herb Greenberg cited a
     source as saying that HOWARD JACOBS -- who was named CMO for
     Action Performance as recently as two weeks ago (see THE
     DAILY, 12/9) --  is "no longer with the company."  Action
     Performance declined comment (TheStreet.com, 12/14).
     ....Aspen Skiing named DON SCHUSTER as VP/Real Estate where
     he will be responsible for the "redevelopment" of the
     Snowmass Club, among other ventures (ASPEN TIMES,
     12/15)....Total Sports has named ROBERT WILSON as Editorial
     Dir. Wilson was previously Senior Editor at HarperCollins
     (Total Sports)....Washington Sports & Entertainment promoted
     JARED PAUL to Dir of Entertainment for MCI Center.  Paul was
     hired as Assistant Dir of Bookings in '98 (MCI Center).
     ....Integrated Marketing Solutions promoted MICHAEL FINN
     from Account Manager to Senior Account Manager, JASON
     CALDEIRA has been promoted from Designer to Senior Designer
     and REBECCA KAPS has been promoted from Account Coordinator
     to Account Executive (IMS)....Former NBA player EDDIE
     JOHNSON has joined Fox Sports Net AZ as an analyst for
     Arizona St. Univ. men's basketball games (Fox)
