THOMAS SHEDS LIGHT ON PLANS TO BEEF UP CBA ATTENDANCE

CBA Owner Isiah Thomas is "ready to make some
adjustments in regards" to leaguewide attendance, with "most
of the adjustments" coming next season, according to Branson
Wright of the GRAND RAPIDS PRESS. Thomas: "Our research has
indicated that drawing 5,000 fans a night in our markets is
a successful night. We have plans to customize the
different arenas to bring the fans closer to the court and
closer together. We're also going to tap more into the
younger Hip Hop crowd. The music that we play must flow
with our (fast-paced) game" (GRAND RAPIDS PRESS, 12/11).
