EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          Nike's Cole Haan division has named TOM ARNDORFER as
     COO.  Arndorfer, who previously served as Nike's Dir of
     Global Strategic Planning, will oversee all finance,
     distribution, management information systems, and customer
     service operations for the company (Cole Haan)....ESPN Int'l
     has promoted Manager of Affil Sales TIM BUNNELL to Dir of
     Affil Sales, Americas.  Bunnell will continue to manage ESPN
     Int'l's interests in Canada and Latin America (ESPN Int'l).
     ....The Univ. of MI Athletic Department has named CPA JASON
     WINTERS as Exec Dir of Athletic Business Operations. 
     Winters has been hired to help solve the school's "financial
     problems" that resulted in a $2M budget deficit the last
     fiscal year (DETROIT FREE PRESS, 11/30)....Minority Orioles
     Investor GEORGE STAMAS is expected to be named today Vice
     Chair of Deutsche Banc Alex.Brown and will head the
     company's global investment banking division in the mid-
     Atlantic region (Baltimore SUN, 11/30)....Edmonton 2001 IAAF
     Committee co-Chair BOB STEADWARD has resigned from the
     Edmonton 2001 Board and as head of the Int'l Paralympic
     Committee for "personal reasons" (EDMONTON SUN, 11/30).
     ...The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics
     (NAIA) named CHRIS POUND as Marketing Dir-Championships. 
     Pound previously served as GM of the Will Rogers Downs Race
     Track in OK (NAIA)....USA Cycling National Event Manager
     TARA MORRIS has been promoted to National Events Dir for the
     U.S. Cycling Federation and the U.S. Professional Racing
     Organization (USA Cycling).
