BROADBAND SPORTS FILES FOR IPO THAT COULD RAISE UP TO $46M

          L.A.-based Broadband Sports filed on Friday to raise up
     to $46M in an IPO, according to a REUTERS report.  The
     company's four online media properties include Athlete
     Direct, Pro Sports Xchange, College Sports Xchange and Roto
     News.  In its prospectus filed with the SEC, the company did
     not disclose "how many shares are in the IPO or their
     projected price range."  Broadband said that it "plans to
     use net proceeds from the IPO to repay debt" and for
     continued development of Web sites (REUTERS, 11/26).
