          NOTES: The Lakers are playing their first season at
     Staples Center, capacity 19,282. The Lakers played at The   
     Great Western Forum (17,505) in '97 and '98.  The Clippers  
     also are playing their first season at Staples Center (their
     capacity is 18,964).  The Clippers played at the LA Sports
     Arena (capacity 16,021) and The Pond at Anaheim (capacity
     18,211) in '97 and '98.  The Nuggets are playing their first
     season at the Pepsi Center, capacity 19,309.  The team
     played at McNichols Arena (capacity 17,171) in '97 and '98. 
     The T'Wolves and the Kings both played their first "home
     openers" November 5-6 at the Tokyo Dome in Japan. The Kings
     had an attendance of 32,623 on November 5 and the T'Wolves
     had an attendance of 34,013 on November 6.  Without the
     Tokyo home game the Kings would be averaging 16,074, which
     is -4.0% for '98 and +8.9% for '97. The T'Wolves would be
     averaging 17,399 and +1.6% for '98 and -8.5% for '97.
