SFX ENTERTAINMENT ACQUIRES N.Y.-BASED SME POWER BRANDING

          SFX Entertainment announced today that it has acquired
     N.Y.-based sports brand identity company SME Power Branding. 
     SME, formerly known as Sean Michael Edwards Design, was
     founded in '88 and its roster of clients include the NBA,
     NFL, MLB, and NHL, as well as WCW, NHRA and PGA of America. 
     SME will work within the SFX Sports Group (SFX Sports).

     Richard Lobel, who is "responsible for developing a brand
     strategy for SFX's diverse offerings of sports, music and
     entertainment."  Lobel, on SFX: "We are really like a new
     network.  We reach 50 million people throughout all our
     different divisions" (AD AGE, 11/22 issue).
