          Total Sports formally announced $35.5M in new
     financing.  Principal investors include Technology Crossover
     Ventures, Zikkha Capital Partners, EGL Holdings, Sycamore
     Venture, Access Technology, Trans Cosmos USA, WinStar New
     Media, InterBrew/Labatt and Asdale Limited (Total Sports). 
     In Raleigh, David Ranii reports that NBC received a 10.55%
     ownership stake in Total Sports in exchange for the $17.4M
     in on-air promotions and marketing of Total Sports'
     "TotalCast" Internet programming (NEWS & OBSERVER, 11/16).
     ...Bolle has hired Banc of America Securities, as it is
     considering "strategic alternatives," including a possible
     sale.  Meanwhile, Bolle CEO Gary Kiedaisch has resigned (See
     #33) (WALL STREET JOURNAL, 11/16).
