EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          The Sports Authority's Board of Dirs has elected MARTIN
     HANAKA as Chair.  Hanaka will continue as the company's CEO
     (The Sports Authority)....Goal Media Group, a Web company
     focused on soccer, named RICH ZAHRADNIK as President & COO. 
     Zahradnik most recently served as President of space.com
     (Goal Media)....The BRIAN GRANT FOUNDATION named former
     Women's World Cup Event Organizer LAUREN KELLING FORMAN as
     Exec Dir (Brian Grant Foundation)....NTRA Productions named
     BEN CAMBRA as VP/Productions.  Cambra previously served as
     VP/Marketing at Emerald Downs in Auburn, WA (NTRA).
     ...Portland Family Entertainment (PFE) named MIKE HIGGINS as
     GM and JIM TAYLOR as GM, Soccer Operations.  Higgins will
     oversee the company's Triple-A baseball franchise and the
     Single-A Rockies.  Higgins previously was with the Mariners. 
     Taylor will oversee the management and marketing of the
     company's A-League soccer franchise. Taylor previously was
     venue director in Portland for the Women's World Cup and Dir
     of Corporate Communications for the Blazers (PFE)....The
     WNBA Sparks named retired G PENNY TOLER as GM (Mult, 11/12).
     ....Nat'l Cable Communications named SAL TOFANO as Dir of
     Sports Sales.  Tofano was an Account Exec at Fox Sports
     Cable Sales and was a Nat'l Sales Manager for FSN (NCC).
