NFLP INKS 46 LICENSEES AROUND SUPER BOWL BASH IN HOTLANTA

NFLP has licensed 46 national and local companies to
manufacture products featuring the Super Bowl XXXIV logo.
The NFL expects retailers to sell about $100M in Super Bowl
merchandise, comparable to last year's effort. The all-time
high was set with Super Bowl XXXI featuring the Packers-
Patriots earning about $130M in sales (NFL). In Atlanta,
Sheila Poole reports that seven Atlanta area restaurant
companies have "teamed up" with the Metro Atlanta Super Bowl
XXXIV Host Committee by paying $10,000 for "official
restaurant" status and recognition in visitors guides and
other Super Bowl publications (ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, 10/29).
