NBC TO LIMIT BREEDERS' CUP COVERAGE BY TVG AND YOUBET.COM

          NBC is taking a "firm stance" on its exclusive
     broadcasting rights to the Breeders' Cup and is prohibiting
     in-home racing providers such as TV Games Network and
     Youbet.com from broadcasting the races next month, according
     to Matt Hegarty of the DAILY RACING FORM.  Breeders' Cup Dir
     of Simulcasting Ken Kirchner: "NBC wants to make sure that
     there is no rebroadcasting in the home to protect their
     rights, and we are respecting our network partner's wishes"
     (DAILY RACING FORM, 10/21).  Kirchner said simulcasting to
     tracks, OTB facilities and casinos will be unaffected: "It's
     the home where NBC has concerns" (LX HERALD-LEADER, 10/21).
