FACILITY NOTES

          Voters will begin going to the polls on Saturday after
     the Spurs and Bexar County formally approved a deal to build
     a $175M arena near Freeman Coliseum (See THE DAILY, 10/12). 
     As part of the deal, the Spurs agreed to a 25-year lease
     that would "make them pay a penalty of up to" $250M if it's
     broken (SAN ANTONIO EXPRESS-NEWS, 10/13)....The Hawks,
     Pacers, 76ers and Grizzlies have signed exclusive, multi-
     year deals to feature ANC Sports' wall mounted and courtside
     signage systems in their arenas beginning this season.  Ten
     NBA teams now use ANC's signage system (ANC Sports).
