SOSA INKS ENDORSEMENT DEAL W/LATIN AMERICAN INTERNET GROUP

          In the "first endorsement deal between a major league
     sports figure and a Latin American Internet company," Cubs
     RF Sammy Sosa has signed a two-year exclusive contract with
     El Sitio Int'l Corp., according to an AD AGE report. 
     Argentina-based Internet network El Sitio, www.elsitio.com,
     provides "country-specific content" for Spanish- and
     Portuguese-speaking users in Latin America and the U.S. 
     Sosa will be featured in El Sitio's upcoming multimedia ad
     campaign, make public appearances on behalf of elsitio.com,
     participate in live online chats and provide autographed
     memorabilia for online auctions.  El Sitio will develop and
     host Sosa's official Web site, which will be launched in
     November.  Sosa will also wear clothing and accessories with
     El Sitio's logo on U.S. TV (AD AGE, 10/12).
