NO COKE, PEPSI, AT THE NET: A'S INK NEW SOFT DRINK SPONSOR

The A's have signed a multi-year deal with PepsiCo,
giving the brand exclusive carbonated pouring rights and
sponsorship at Network Associates Coliseum. Pepsi, which
replaces Coca-Cola as the Official Soft Drink of the team
and the facility, will have its signage and logos featured
throughout the stadium -- on scoreboards, concourse areas
and concession stands -- as well as in printed materials and
on the A's Web site. The deal includes promotional
opportunities for the Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Pepsi ONE, Mountain
Dew, Mug and Storm brands. Conversion from Coca-Cola to
Pepsi signage is expected to be completed by today (A's).
