HEAT LOOK TO MAKE ARENA AREA BRIMMING WITH NEW DEVELOPMENT

          The Heat are "talking to Oscar-winning actor-singer-
     composer" Isaac Hayes about developing a restaurant near the
     new AmericanAirlines Arena, according to Barbara De Lollis
     of the MIAMI HERALD, who wrote that it is just the "latest
     development in the Heat's evolving real estate strategy." 
     The team has already brought in Gloria Estefan, Jimmy
     Buffett and Magic Johnson to develop ventures around the
     arena.  The team's "vision" for Biscayne Boulevard include a
     high-rise office tower, a health spa and restaurants.  So
     far, the team has approval for 100,000 square feet of retail
     and restaurant space at the arena site, including 30,000
     square feet inside the arena (MIAMI HERALD, 9/24).
