THEY WISH TO THANK YOU, THANK YOU: MLB'S TV/PRINT CAMPAIGN

          MLB will launch a fan appreciation ad campaign this
     week set to run through the post-season, which includes
     print and TV components and the tag, "Thanks fans, for being
     part of the team."  Thirty-second spots will air nationally
     on MLB's TV partners -- Fox, NBC, ESPN, FSN and FX, and
     print ads will debut October 4 in USA Today, USA Today's
     Baseball Weekly and SI.  Local markets will be provided with
     25-second spots in order to allow clubs the opportunity to
     add their own messages.  The creative was developed by Leo
     Burnett's N.Y.-based Vigilante.  Concrete Productions, in
     conjunction with MLB Productions, produced the ads, and
     editing was done by Rhinocerous Editorial and Post (MLB).
