FACILITY NOTES

NAMING RIGHTS: Despite Mayor Wellington Webb's desire
not to sell naming rights to the Broncos' new facility, some
Denver Football Stadium District board members feel they
should listen to offers. Board member Gene Ciancio: "If a
company came up and gave us $100 million, that would be
awful hard to say no to" (ROCKY MTN NEWS, 9/22)....Kansas
Speedway Corp. President Grant Lynch, on selling naming
rights to the track: "We are looking at that. ... We are
willing to sit down and talk" (K.C. STAR, 9/22).
THE MAGICAL KINGDOM: USA TODAY's Carolyn White profiles
Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando and writes
that it "stands as a testament to Disney's savvy in
marketing itself to amateur athletics" (USA TODAY, 9/22).
