PEOPLE & PERSONALITIES: FOX LETS VIEWERS DECIDE ON KIMMEL

          Noting last week's media criticism of comedian Jimmy
     Kimmel predicting games on "Fox NFL Sunday," the net told
     viewers they could decide the fate of its new forecaster by
     voting on foxsports.com.  Fox's Terry Bradshaw, after Kimmel
     wore a "Terry is bald" hat during his picks segment: "He is
     outta here.  Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy ... you're supposed to be
     funny" ("Fox NFL Sunday," Fox, 9/19).
          NOTES: NBC Sports announcer Bob Costas will call
     tonight's Mets-Braves game on ESPN, his final contribution
     for the net (Minneapolis STAR TRIBUNE, 9/21)....Lance
     Armstrong has signed with Putnam to co-write his
     autobiography with Sally Jenkins (CHARLOTTE OBSERVER, 9/19)
     ....Former WFNZ radio talk show host Steve Czaban "has taken
     a job with ESPN Radio" for "at least until the end of the
     year" and will work early morning weekend shifts beginning
     Friday (CHARLOTTE OBSERVER, 9/18)....Nanci "the Fabulous
     Sports Babe" Donnellan, formerly with ESPN & ABC Radio, has
     joined SportsFan Radio (USA TODAY, 9/20).  Donnellan said
     that SportsFan is building her a studio near her Tampa home
     and planning to air her nationally in "supposedly" 150
     markets starting Monday (PITTSBURGH POST-GAZETTE, 9/20).
