PALACE SPORTS & ENTERTAINMENT GOES NEW ROUTE WITH WEB SITE

Palace Sports & Entertainment (PS&E) has launched its
official Web site, located at www.palacenet.com (PS&E). In
Detroit, Jennifer Bott writes that the site, designed by FL-
based Hydrogen Media, also provides links to stock quotes,
weather and "offers on everything from movie posters to
classic cars." PS&E "hopes to make the site the first stop
for all Web surfing." PS&E spokesperson Jeff Corey: "The
more people who use your site the more apt they are to use
your venue and see your teams." Chat rooms, merchandise and
a silent auction on Pistons and Vipers minor league hockey
memorabilia are also offered. PS&E "wouldn't reveal how
much it spent on the site or how much it expects to make
from royalties" (DETROIT FREE PRESS, 9/17).
