     Monica Karo is "credited as a key player" in the agency
     recently winning the $150M IOC account; Clients of Zenith
     Media Services Senior VP/Sports Negotiations Bill Sheehan
     "have been counting on him to make key sports-advertising
     recommendations for more than four decades;" True North
     Senior VP & Dir of National Broadcast Operations John
     Lazarus "pioneered an early deal with multiple CBS
     properties" for client Taylor Made Golf (AD AGE, 9/13).     
          NAMES & FACES: Cornerstone Sports has "exceeded" its
     $2.5M "guarantee" investment in golfer Hank Kuehne after
     signing a ball deal with Srixon, an apparel deal with
     Woolrich and a head-wear deal with Custom Track. 
     Cornerstone is "still working on" club and bag deals for
     Kuehne, "depending" on which tour he plays next year (L.A.
     TIMES, 9/17)....In Sacramento, Don Bosley reported that
     after her strong year, a "lucrative shoe deal is in the
     works" for Monarchs F Yolanda Griffith (SACRAMENTO BEE,
     9/15)....Head runs a full-page ad in the WALL STREET JOURNAL
     congratulating Andre Agassi on his U.S. Open victory.  Canon
     congratulates Agassi in a full-page N.Y. TIMES ad (9/17).
