          NFL NEWS & NOTES: Bill Cosby has "no interest in being
     a part-owner of the Ravens."  Cosby spokesperson David
     Brokaw: "He does not have an interest in owning a club.  I
     don't see that as an area of pursuit for him" (Baltimore
     SUN, 9/16)....The Bills' season-ticket base has climbed more
     than 15% this season.  Bills Treasurer Jeffrey Littmann said
     season-ticket figures will be "north of 37,000."  Last
     season, the team sold 31,000-32,000 (BUFFALO NEWS, 9/14).
     ...Redskins Owner Daniel Snyder, after five Redskins players
     suffered dehydration and leg cramps during Sunday's game
     against the Cowboys: "They'd better not get dehydrated next
     weekend" (WASHINGTON POST, 9/16). 
          NOTES: Percy "Master P" Miller has signed a free agent
     contract with the Raptors (No Limit Sports)....Pacers coach
     Larry Bird confirmed that this will be his last season
     coaching (BOSTON GLOBE, 9/16)....In St. Louis, Rick Desloge
     profiles MO attorney Dick Thomas, who will be the "point
     man" for Bill and Nancy Laurie's investment in the Blues and
     Kiel Center (ST. LOUIS BUSINESS JOURNAL, 9/13 issue).
