A NICE RING TO IT: BELLSOUTH INKS NAMING RIGHTS DEAL IN TN

          The Single A Chattanooga Lookouts have reached a naming
     rights deal with BellSouth which will rename the team's new
     6,000-seat ballpark BellSouth Park, according to James Beach
     of the Chattanooga TIMES & FREE PRESS. The deal, which
     sources value at $1M, also includes a 10-year package that
     gives BellSouth telecom advertising exclusivity at the
     ballpark and on the radio (TIMES & FREE PRESS, 9/10).
          AT AUGUSTA: Augusta (GA) city commissioners will allow 
     the Single A Augusta GreenJackets to sell naming rights to
     Lake Olmstead Stadium.  The team is seeking a 10-year deal,
     valued at $100,000 annually, and says that the first year it
     will keep 75% of revenue earned, while donating the
     remaining 25% to the city (AUGUSTA CHRONICLE, 9/8).
