EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          PAUL D'AIUTO, formerly Managing Dir of Corporate
     Sponsorships for the Predators, has been named Exec Dir of
     Sales for the Blue Jackets (Blue Jackets)....Asia-based ESPN
     STAR Sports announced several promotions: ADAM ZECHA to
     VP/Int'l Sales; SALLY CHADWICK to VP/Marketing, Asia;
     BERNICE TAN to Dir of Program Acquisitions (ESPN
     STAR)....Former Rockets Publications Manager KRIS CRENWELGE
     was named Dir of Communications of Promax, L.A.  Also, BILL
     MCHUGH was named Dir of Consumer Distribution of ESPN's
     Special Markets Department.  McHugh was Manager of Consumer
     Distribution for ESPN (ELEC. MEDIA, 8/25)....THOMAS JAY
     AMON, formerly Brand Manager of FASTBALL.com, was named
     Brand Manager of Cox Interactive Media's GreatOutdoors.com
     (CIM)....MIKE FANNIN was appointed to Assistant Managing
     Editor for Sports at the K.C. STAR.  Fannin has been Deputy
     Sports Editor since February '97 (K.C. STAR, 8/25).
