VENUS' FLY WRAPS: WILLIAMS AGAIN DESIGNS U.S. OPEN OUTFITS

WTA Tour player Venus Williams has "helped Reebok
concoct seven dresses" for the upcoming U.S. Open, including
a "one-shoulder outfit she designed herself," according to
Robin Finn of the N.Y. TIMES. Williams, who will put some
of the outfits on display Sunday at the All Star Cafe in
Manhattan, intends to "wind down" the '99 season "in order
to sign on for a semester of fashion design" at an unnamed
FL college "to keep the paparazzi in the dark." Finn writes
that Williams also designed seven dresses for last year's
     Open (N.Y. TIMES, 8/20).
