HANGERS-ON BEWARE: NEW SYSTEM DESIGNED TO TRACK SUITE USAGE

IL-based Marketing Database Systems and Venture Group
Marketing Partnership have developed UsherPro, software
designed to "track the usage of luxury suites at arenas and
stadiums," according to Zajac & Van of the CHICAGO TRIBUNE.
Former IHL Wolves President and Marketing Database/Venture
Group CEO Robert McAuliff said that the software is
"intended to help suite owners manage what is becoming an
increasingly costly investment." UsherPro tracks "who has
been invited to what events, ... keeps tabs on food, drink
and merchandise purchases, catering and transportation, and
provides access to schedules, promotional dates and other
information." The technology, available on CD-ROM, ranges
in price from $25,000-50,000 per facility or team, depending
on the "complexity of tracking services." The SkyDome and
the Predators are using the system (CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 8/9).
