EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          CBS has renewed the contract of network President LES
     MOONVES and he will continue to oversee all TV divisions,
     including sports (WALL STREET JOURNAL, 7/29)....Allsport
     Photography promoted PETER ORLOWSKY to VP/Sales.  He was
     Marketing Manager (THE DAILY)....SI announced the following
     personnel moves: JOHN COONEY was named Dir of the Boston
     sales office; In N.Y., ANDREW HERSAM was named Divisional
     Sales Manager; CHRIS MCLOUGHLIN was named Sales Development
     Dir; ALEXANDRA LEVY was named Account Manager and NORBERT
     GAMBUZZA was named co-Dir Sports Marketing & Promotions
     (SI)....The NHL Panthers named MICHAEL CITRO Communications/
     Publications Coordinator (Panthers)....BRET ITSKOWITCH was
     named VP/Associate Media Dir for MediaCom, "heading up" the
     Reebok account.  He was previously VP/Account Planning Dir
     at SFM Media LLC (MEDIAWEEK, 7/26)....DAN MACKINNON was
     named the AHL's Coordinator of Marketing Services (AHL)
