          The Triple A Ottawa Lynx has retained MA-based Game
     Plan to handle the sale of the franchise (Game Plan).  Lynx
     Owner Howard Darwin is hoping to sell the team to local
     interest, and in Ottawa, Tom Casey writes that the current
     value of a Triple A team is C$10-12M (OTTAWA CITIZEN, 7/27).
     ...In Akron, Sheldon Ocker reports that former Jacobs Field
     PA Announcer Mike Olszewski was "not fired" by the Indians,
     but "has resigned to take a full-time job at a local radio
     station" (BEACON JOURNAL, 7/27)....Former Lightning GM Phil
     Esposito has filed a $15,000 suit against Sports Investors
     of FL, claiming that former team Owner Art Williams "did not
     provide a pension payment" after firing Esposito (ST. PETE
     TIMES, 7/27)....In NJ, Tim Leonard writes that by saying he
     was upset with the turnout by the Latino community for last
     weekend's int'l friendly match before a MetroStars game,
     MetroStars VP/Sales & Marketing Jim Leahy "chose to further
     alienate a market" the team has been "trying to cultivate
     for years." Leonard: "Ethnic fans can't be expected to show
     up just because you bring in a club team from their
     homeland, not even a popular team" (Bergen RECORD, 7/27).
