STEEL CURTAIN JUST ABOUT TO COME DOWN ON SUITE SALES

Steelers VP Art Rooney II said that of the 117
corporate boxes to be leased at the team's new stadium,
"pretty close to 100 are spoken for," according to Tom
Barnes of the PITTSBURGH POST-GAZETTE. The team has been
marketing the new suites for "less than two months," with
the effort set to be "expanded to 80 companies on a waiting
list -- virtually guaranteeing that all 117 boxes will soon
be taken." Rooney: "I don't think we'll have any trouble
leasing them." If all 117 suites are leased at an average
cost of $80,000, the Steelers would generate "nearly" $9.4M
     a year (PITTSBURGH POST-GAZETTE, 7/27).
