ROCKY MOUNTAIN BUY: BRONCOS STADIUM BONDS SELL OUT QUICKLY

          The $140M in revenue bonds sold to fund the
     construction of the new Broncos stadium "were gone by 8:30
     a.m. Wednesday, three hours before the sale was scheduled to
     end," according to Guy Kelly of the ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS. 
     Hanifen, Imhoff President & Chair Walt Imhoff, whose company
     handled the bond sale: "It went so well the offering was
     oversubscribed.  They had to terminate the order period
     early because of all the orders coming in."  As a result of
     the demand, yield on the bonds "dropped slightly" from an
     expected 4.9-5.35% to 4.88-5.30%.  There "will be another
     bond sale in about two weeks," with "about" $105M of bonds
     maturing from 2003-06 to be sold (ROCKY MTN NEWS, 7/22).
