HONEYMOON PERIOD FOR LEONSIS AND LEDECKY CONTINUES IN DC

New Capitals co-Owner TED LEONSIS delivered on his
intent to take the first person to buy a Capitals season
ticket package after he completed his acquisition of the
team out to dinner, after he found out that the team's
season-ticket sales were "lagging." Leonsis took ROGER
MCCLOUD and his family to dinner at Morton's Steakhouse in
Tyson's Corner, VA. McCloud, on the dinner invitation: "I
thought it was a big joke, but it's not." Leonsis: "I do
really want to get deep into the DNA of what makes a fan
happy and I think that's the only way to do it is to get
closer to them" (WTTG-FOX, 7/14). In DC, Lloyd George noted
that Capitals co-Owner JON LEDECKY is worth an estimated
$200M and is single. Ledecky: "I've never been more
single." He said that he wants a woman "who will like him
for himself" and not his personal fortune and jokes, "I'm
saving money by skipping my first wife and going straight to
my second wife" (WASHINGTON POST, 7/20)
