RENOVATION AT RALPH WILSON STADIUM IS NEARLY COMPLETE

The seven-month renovation of Ralph Wilson Stadium is
"almost 90 percent complete," according to Leo Roth of the
Rochester DEMOCRAT & CHRONICLE. At one point, the project
employed "up to 600 at a time working double shifts" in
order to finish construction on "nearly 10,000 more luxury
seats." The 76 new luxury suites atop the stadium's lower
bowl, positioned 40 rows from the field, "quickly sold out,
some at $81,000 per season." Bills Treasurer Jeffrey
Littmann, on the suites' location: "We were determined to
get our premium customer a premium sightline. We kept
looking and finally found that cavernous space." Also, the
new club level features 6,800 "heated seats," of which
"nearly all have sold in prices ranging from $769 to $1,169
per season." The new design features three indoor country
club-like concourses, replaces the aluminum benches in the
lower bowl with individual armchairs and upgrades the
lighting and sound systems (DEMOCRAT & CHRONICLE, 7/18).
