EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          NIKE MOVES: Nike has reorganized its U.S. apparel
     division by naming the following GM's: BARRY MIGUEL (men's);
     PAT VAN ORMAN-PRICE (women's); BARB CHAMBERS (kids); PETER
     KOLSKY (sports graphics and caps); LINDA GOLDSTEIN
     (strategic response team).  All will report to Nike VP JOHN
     NOTAR.  Notar: "We've created a structure more in line with
     the way people purchase apparel.  In addition, the new
     organization will allow us to heighten our focus on the
     women's sports business" (Nike)....BRANDWEEK's Terry Lefton
     reports that Nike Dir of Global Negotiations & League
     Affairs CHRIS BEVILACQUA has resigned after five years with
     the company.  Bevilacqua, who will leave at the end of the
     summer, is targeting either TV content creation or an
     Internet sports firm (BRANDWEEK, 6/28 issue).  
          OTHER TRANSACTIONS: Former Nets GM HARRY WELTMAN was
     named IBL Shooting Stars President & GM.  He replaces LARRY
     KEATING, who resigned to take a position in the league's
     front office (Trenton TIMES, 6/29)....Former MasterCard
     Domestic Sponsorship Dir BILL DAILY has taken a marketing
     position with Oakley.  Daily previously worked with Oakley
     CEO BILL SCHMIDT at Gatorade (BRANDWEEK, 6/29).
