          Vikings WR Randy Moss was a "no-show" at a Saturday
     autograph session at an Albertsons supermarket, which co-
     sponsored the event with Coca-Cola, leaving more than 500
     people "with only Coke cans and unsigned memorabilia." 
     Coca-Cola spokesperson Polly Howes: "I can certainly
     understand and appreciate that the people were disappointed.
     ... We are looking into the situation" (Ft. Lauderdale SUN-
     SENTINEL, 6/27)....LPGA golfer Kelli Kuehne, on the reaction
     of other players regarding her deals with Nike and Top-
     Flite: "In a way they resented me, but in a way they knew
     that if they were given the same situation that they would
     have done the same thing that I did" ("Pro Golf Weekly,"
     CNN, 6/26)....Greyhound Lines has signed a three-year deal
     with the Southeastern Conference (SEC) as an official
     corporate partner.  The SEC Corporate Partnership program is
     sold and administered by Universal Sports America's USA
     Collegiate Group (SEC)....The Big South Conference has named
     Amtrak as a corporate partner for the '99-2000 basketball
     season.  The deal includes courtside signage, a consumer
     promotion element and a monthly ticket sweepstakes at Big
     South schools (Big South)....Roush Racing issued a memo to
     vendors which stated that any Ford marks "must be removed
     from all Roush Racing products" they sell due in part to a
     "royalties-licensing action taken by Ford in recent weeks." 
     Roush said that it is "no indication they plan to leave" the
     auto maker (CHARLOTTE OBSERVER, 6/28)....The Knicks took out
     a full-page ad in today's N.Y. Times thanking fans with the
     tag, "I Still Believe" (THE DAILY).
