ESPN CHILTON RELEASES MORE DATA ON TWELVE-SPORT FAN INDEX

          Each month, the ESPN Chilton Sports Poll computes a     Twelve-Sport Fan Index, the combined average fan activity     (representing various elements such as sport interest,     attendance, viewership and purchasing habits) of the NFL,     MLB, NBA, NHL, NCAA basketball and football, pro golf, pro     tennis, pro soccer, pro figure skating, auto racing and pro     boxing.  The Twelve-Sport Fan Index is tracked year to year     and month to month, and changes are noted each month in THE     DAILY.  The following are this month's changes.  Note: ESPN     Chilton Sports Poll interviews 2000 respondents age 12+ each     month.                            CHANGES         IN THE TWELVE-SPORT FAN INDEX

          The Twelve-Sport Fan Index increased slightly from     April '99 to May '99 due to increases in the fan bases of     the NHL, pro figure skating and pro soccer.  The fan base of     each sport used to calculate the Twelve-Sport Index was down     in May '99 compared to May '98.  Eight sports' fan bases     declined between 3 and 4.5% points from May '98-May '99.                              -30-
