A JCPENNEY FOR YOUR THOUGHTS ON AND 1 SHIRTS BEING PULLED

          JCPenney "yanked" a line of AND 1 "trash-talking" T-
shirts from its shelves following "complaints from various
women's equality groups," according to Stephanie Allmon of
the INDIANAPOLIS STAR-NEWS, who writes that the "directive
to remove [the] T-shirts came from corporate headquarters
and stemmed from separate complaints." The shirts included
the slogans, "You can't hold me. That's your girl's job,"
and "You like this move? So does your girl." JCPenney
spokesperson Duncan Muir: "We made a mistake. There's not
much more we can do." AND 1 execs "did not return phone
calls" on the matter on Monday (INDY STAR-NEWS, 6/22).
