          In Miami, Clark Spencer writes that sources say that
     Magna Int'l Founder & Chair Frank Stronach is "in
     negotiations" with Gulfstream Park and "might be close to
     purchasing" the Hallandale, FL, track.  "Industry estimates"
     place Gulfstream's sale price at $110M (MIAMI HERALD, 6/17).
     ...The Hawks will offer tours of Philips Arena at the team's
     NBA Draft party on June 30 (ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, 6/17).
     ...PR consultant Alan Caron, who was hired by the city of
     Portland, ME, in March "to steer the discussion" of a new
     downtown arena, "resigned" Tuesday.  Caron was paid $10,000
     to "pull together the disparate elements of a redevelopment
     plan" for the city (Portland PRESS HERALD, 6/16).
