TAMPA', TAMPA', TAMPA'! NAIMOLI IRKED AT SI REPORT

          Devil Rays Managing General Partner Vince Naimoli
     dismissed a report in SI's June 14 "Inside Baseball" segment
     stating he has "drawn public ire by reportedly talking in
     private" about moving the team to Tampa, calling it "without
     merit," according to Marc Topkin of the ST. PETERSBURG
     TIMES.  Naimoli: "There are many falsehoods in that article. 
     I've never talked publicly or privately about moving the
     team to Tampa -- or anywhere else. ... If they would call us
     and ask questions they could get the true facts as opposed
     to the things they make up" (ST. PETERSBURG TIMES, 6/15).
