          A temporary receptionist for the SPURS has been
     "accused of taking" about $75,000 in team ticket sales for
     the NBA Finals.  She was told to take the bag of money to an
     armored bank carrier, but failed to live up to her
     responsibilities.  She had been working as a temp with the
     team for about a month (EXPRESS NEWS, 6/11)....IOC member
     KEVAN GOSPER has "all but secured vice-presidency" of the
     IOC after getting the backing of JUAN ANTONIO SAMARANCH and
     seeing Belgian JACQUES ROGGE, "one of his main rivals"
     withdraw from the race (DAILY TELEGRAPH, 6/10). ...JESSE
     JACKSON's PUSH Coalition said it will review the Univ. of FL
     and the NFLPA's case against agent TANK BLACK (ORLANDO
     SENTINEL, 6/11).  Black, responding to allegations against
     him: "The truth is being twisted so poorly that it's just
     amazing.  People are saying all kinds of things about me and
     they don't even know who I am" (AP, 6/11)....First Lady  --
     and prospective NY Senatorial candidate -- HILLARY RODHAM
     CLINTON, asked by Katie Couric if she was an baseball fan:
     "I am a Cubs fan.  But I needed an American League team ...
     so as a young girl, I became very interested and enamored of
     the Yankees."  But N.Y. Mayor and likely GOP opponent RUDY
     GIULIANI said he's "been at Yankee Stadium maybe 1,000 times
     and I haven't seen Mrs. Clinton" (WASHINGTON POST,
     6/11)....Actor JOHN O'HURLEY, who played J. PETERMAN in
     "SEINFELD," will serve as celebrity coach for Beck's bier's
     "Putt & Win" competition during the American Century
     Celebrity Golf Championship in NV on July 4 (Beck's).
